What do you consider to be a successful open house?

We hold open houses on weekends in order to find a buyer for the house.

If there are many attendees do you consider it to be a success ? OR If just one person comes in but is a good buyer lead and you get to show the person more homes do you consider it to be a success ?

If we find a buyer for the house we will consider it to be a success even if no one else attends the open house.

But we do not often sell a listing at the open house. ( except with new construction)

When I hold an open house I call agents who have already shown the house and inform them to send their buyers if they want to see it again. This helps sell the house because the buyers can spend a few hours looking at the house at that time. Sometimes if they see other people interested in the house they might even consider going back to their agent and making an offer.

If we are holding an open house for our own listing we will consider it to be successful if just a few people attend it because the sellers will be pleased that there are people looking at the house. However if an agent is holding an open house for another agent then for the agent should atleast receive a lead from the open house inorder to consider it to be a success

If a few people attend and they give me their contact information and request me to send them listing information I consider it to be a success .

I had an open house on Sunday and 4 people came in. I consider it to be a success because two of three of them liked the house. One of them is working with an agent so I hope she will call me to show the house for a second time. Two of the others gave me contact information to email listings as they have to look at more homes. The other one said it is for her sisiter and she will call me . I hope she will call.

Though I did not sell the house I consider that this was a Good open house on Sunday. I have my fingers crossed.

The main reason I? have an open house is so that agents can send their buyers.

When you read about events please check the year for the event as some people find information a year later and think it is for that year.?. The posts remain online even after the event.
